We explore hydrogen technologies at early stages of development

If Europe is to stay at the forefront of Hydrogen technologies, research and innovation gaps need to be addressed in a timely manner. For this reason, Hydrogen Europe Research believes in fundamental research as the main way to retain leadership in this sector. The recently set up Low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Research Working Group brings together diverse expertise from various fields to explore and advance the early-stage development of hydrogen technologies relating to its production, storage, distribution and end-uses as well as cross-cutting technologies.

Our members participating in the Low TRL Working Group explore and push the boundaries of emerging concepts and ideas in the early stages of development, aiming to increase the TRL of these technologies for future practical applications.
