26·03·25

EERA’s Joint Programmes on Economic, Environmental and Social Impacts of the Energy Transition (e3s) and Fuel Cells and Hydrogen (FCH) are organising a joint workshop on 26 March 2025 at University of Turin to analyse hydrogen’s potential contribution and the obstacles to its effective use in achieving a just and sustainable energy transition.

This workshop will delve into the multifaceted impacts of hydrogen technology deployment, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue between SSH and STEM research communities. Participants will explore hydrogen’s societal implications and identify actions needed to manage its role in the clean energy transition effectively. By bridging diverse scientific perspectives and promoting collaboration, the event aims to explore hydrogen’s potential role and the challenges to its effective use in achieving a sustainable and just energy transition.
