The HYPERION project’s second meeting took place on 5-6 November at the Office of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship in Gdańsk, Poland.

The event began with greetings from Stanisław Szultka, Director of the Economic Development Department, followed by Lorenzo Sabatini (ASEV – project coordinator) summarizing the first six months and future goals.

Filip Marcinkowski, legal advisor at the Energy Regulatory Office, provided insights on Poland’s hydrogen management laws. The first in-depth session on Hydrogen Valleys featured Wojciech Lach (ORLEN Group) and Szymon Płoński (Lower Silesian Hydrogen Valley), sparking valuable partner exchanges.

The second focus was hydrogen financing. Łukasz Kałużny (JK Kanceleria & Hydrogendesk) and ARP TFI discussed challenges and solutions for funding hydrogen projects, leading to an engaging round-table discussion led by HER’s Louis Mazurkiewicz.

Day two included a steering group meeting on reporting and communications, plus an interactive session on best practices. The event concluded with a study tour at the Port Authority of Gdansk, highlighting hydrogen initiatives in action.
